Hi,
I have 2 questions. How many donuts (normal size) will this recipie make? And also, if I use less sugar (I don't like really sweet donuts), can I cut the sugar amount in half, or will that just make the donuts taste weird? Thanks!

Ryan, the exchange is based on the UK system of measuring protein intake. An exchange of mash potato is considered to be 80g cooked weight.

If you're interested. this PDF gives some further details on exchanges. The potato information is on page 5.

Hi Emma, glad to hear the recipe worked out for you.

I haven't tried freezing the donuts yet, but I don't see why the wouldn't freeze well. As long as they are left to defrost naturally rather than using the microwave I would think they would be OK.
